Eye Cleaning Steps
毛孩眼角有少量分泌物時，可以溫柔地清潔眼周，讓它保持清爽。準備一塊乾淨柔軟的布，用溫水沾濕；也可以使用獸醫認可的寵物眼部清潔棉片。
When you notice a small amount of discharge around your pet’s eyes, a gentle wipe can help keep the area clean. Use a clean, soft cloth dampened with warm water, or pet eye-cleaning pads recommended by your veterinarian.

先讓毛孩放鬆
Help your pet relax輕輕托住頭部，不要壓迫眼睛。
Gently support their head without pressing on the eyes.

輕拭眼周
Wipe around the eyes從內眼角向外擦拭，只清潔眼睛周圍；結痂先用濕布敷軟，再輕輕帶走，不要硬摳。兩隻眼睛分別使用乾淨的布面或棉片。
Wipe from the inner corner outward, cleaning only the area around the eye. If there’s dried discharge, hold the damp cloth against it to soften it first; don’t pick or scrape. Use a clean part of the cloth or a fresh pad for each eye.

輕輕擦乾
Pat the area dry用乾淨柔軟的毛巾吸乾眼周水分。不要自行把清潔劑或眼藥水滴進眼睛，也不要使用含雙氧水的產品。
Use a clean, soft towel. Don’t put cleansers or eye drops in the eye unless your veterinarian has instructed you to, and avoid products containing hydrogen peroxide.

When to see your vet
如果出現眼睛發紅或腫脹、瞇眼、眼睛混濁，或有黃色、綠色、紅色分泌物，請盡快聯絡獸醫；這些情況可能需要及時檢查。
Contact your veterinarian promptly if you notice redness or swelling, squinting, a cloudy eye, or yellow, green, or red discharge. These signs may need timely attention.
